Mother and calf take the trek across the rolling hills of grass to find a bundle of blackberries hanging from a branch on the tree line. She nuzzles her little one to reach its nose up towards the finally ripe fruit thick and full of berries for the summer. As she prepares to wrap her tongue around the bushel, she lets out small moos to tell her calf that these are food that regrows each year in the same patch. Her calf will tell its calf and that single bush will feed generations to come.
