Through my first visuals of cattle, I saw cows as an object that gives us the milk. I lost all the personal connection that a cow could give us as an individual. In this piece I replaced all the cows with singular faces of real cows at the sanctuary A Gentle Barn. Along with the piece are QR codes to each of these cows’ stories. By creating an individual story to each logo, we understand the animal as a person rather than an objectified animal for the consumer.
